This had me somewhat confused. The title says: “necromancer to the sorcerer.” But then it seems that the first line is uttered by the sorcerer. No?
I did find it amusing, though.

In my mind, the whole thing was the necromancer talking to (you might say taunting) a doubt-ridden, and thereby defenseless, sorcerer. But I was in a mood more whimsical than sensical.

I read it that way, too, but it didn’t make sense then. It does now. Thank you for clarification. Sometimes we’re not in the right state of mind to understand things.
